1. Who we are
Raziel's Mercy™ (“we”, “us”) is a lost Android recovery system, with the owner website at archangelraziel.com. It is operated by RUEZALS, based in Texas. A separate company may take over operation later; if that happens we will update this page.
2. The short version
- Raziel's Mercy™ collects what it needs to help your lost phone come home — and, when Lost Mode is on, some information about whoever is holding the phone.
- Only you, the phone's owner, can see what your phone reports.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
3. Information we collect from you (the owner)
- Account: the details you use to sign in to archangelraziel.com (for example your name and sign-in email) and your plan.
- Devices: the phones you pair (model, platform, a device identifier, pairing status, app version, and which protections you turn on).
- Messages and call settings: the return message you choose or write, and the call-back number shown on the lock screen. With the masked call feature, calls are connected without showing your number to the finder.
- Payments: subscriptions are handled by Google Play. We receive confirmation of your plan, not your card details.
- Basic technical data: logs needed to run, secure and fix the service (such as times, errors and IP addresses).
4. Information collected about the finder when Lost Mode is active
Raziel's Mercy™ is designed to gather information only after the owner marks a phone lost and only on Paid features the owner has turned on. Depending on the phone and plan, this can include:
- Photos of whoever is holding the phone (“finder photos” / conscience check), taken with the phone's front camera.
- Location of the lost phone (geolocation), while you permit it.
- Nearby Wi‑Fi information — network names and signal strength of the strongest nearby networks, used for signal trilateration (an estimated area and direction) and a hotspot breadcrumb trail. Android only.
- Lock-screen activity, such as when the return message was shown, whether the call button was pressed, and alerts like startle alert or boot retry.
The finder sees a clear lock-screen message that the phone is lost and protected by Raziel's Mercy™. We use this information only to help return the phone to its owner. [Draft note: exact on-screen notice wording to be decided.]
5. How we use information
- To show you where your phone may be and what has happened to it, in your owner dashboard.
- To display your return message and connect calls.
- To carry out actions you request, like remote delete.
- To run, secure, and improve the service, and to prevent misuse.
We do not use finder photos for facial recognition or to identify people.
6. Who can see it
Only the owner of the account the phone is paired with can see that phone's location, finder photos and Wi‑Fi data. We share data only with service providers that help us run Raziel's Mercy™ (for example hosting and app stores), under confidentiality, or when the law requires it. We never sell data and do not share it for advertising.
7. How long we keep it
- Finder photos: kept only while the phone is in Lost Mode. After the phone is reactivated or taken out of Lost Mode, they are permanently deleted by our nightly cleanup at midnight (U.S. Central Time) once 3 full calendar days have passed.
- Location and Wi‑Fi data: kept while the phone is in Lost Mode and for a limited time after it is recovered, then deleted. [Draft: exact retention period TBD.]
- Account and device data: kept while your account is open, and deleted after you close it, except anything we must keep by law.
- You can delete individual photos and history from your dashboard at any time.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and limited staff access to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we will tell affected owners about a breach as required by law.
9. Your choices and deletion requests
- Turn individual protections on or off for each phone.
- Delete photos, history, devices, or your whole account in the owner dashboard.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete your data through the dashboard contact option below. A finder who believes we hold their photo or data may also ask us to delete it.
10. Children
Raziel's Mercy™ is intended as a family tool managed by adults. The Raziel's Mercy™ account must be purchased and managed by an adult 18 or older, who is the account holder and is responsible for every device on it, including devices the account holder provides to family members. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it. [Draft: how a parent's phone used by a child is handled — TBD.]
11. Supported devices
Raziel's Mercy™ is a lost Android recovery system. It runs on Android phones only.
12. Texas law
RUEZALS is based in Texas, and this policy is written with Texas law in mind, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act where it applies. Some states and countries give you extra rights; we will honor those where required.
13. Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes we will update the date at the top and let owners know in the dashboard before the changes take effect.
